On Sunday, the 7th of October, VirtaMed was proud to support one of the twenty-four Pre-Congress courses  at the 2018 ASRM Scientific Congress & Expo in Denver, Colorado, USA. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) covers all areas of reproductive health. The theme of this year's Congress is 'Focus on the Next Generation.'

In support of this theme's component of technological advancement, VirtaMed provided the GynoS™ hysteroscopy simulator for the pre-course 'Hands-on Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy Course.' The course, which can be used towards CME credits, addressed the gap between advancements in surgical techniques and the availability of training in these new surgical skills by introducing participants to a diversity of diagnostic and surgical simulators. The course catered to all levels of participants, from recently-graduated fellows to experienced practitioners wanting to update their knowledge and skills.

With over two full days left, the Congress's 8900 registrants still have the opportunity to attend several plenary lectures, interact with fertility experts, and attend some of the several hundred education sessions offered. They also have the opportunity to see the latest technological developments at the ASRM Simulation Pavilion in the Exhibition Hall. Over two hundred exhibitors, the interactive displays include ASRM's embryo transfer simulator, which was developed with VirtaMed, as well as VirtaMed's GynoS ™ hysteroscopy simulator..
